🛠️ On the Job: This Week’s Behind-the-Scenes

From sagging floors to wet basements, we’ve been hard at work helping homeowners across the Triad protect their biggest investment. Here’s a peek at three projects our team tackled this week:

🏚️ Job 1: Crawlspace Floor Support + Vapor Barrier

This home had noticeable floor sag in the rear of the house. Our crew installed 12 Power Posts with poured concrete footers and pressure-treated drop girders to provide strong, supplemental support beneath the home. To help manage moisture, we also added a 6-mil sealed vapor barrier across the crawlspace floor.

🧰 Goal: Stabilize sinking floors and improve moisture control.

💧 Job 2: Basement Waterproofing + Structural Reinforcement

We started by jackhammering the existing slab to install a full basement perimeter drainage system, which redirects water before it can collect. We also installed a 1/3 HP cast-iron sump pump for reliable water removal. For added support, one high-strength galvanized Power Post was added to stabilize the space.

🏗️ Goal: Keep the basement dry and reinforce structural integrity.

🐜 Job 3: Full Crawlspace Waterproofing + Encapsulation

This crawlspace needed a serious overhaul. We trenched and installed a French drain system, added a sump pump, sealed cracks and vent openings, and installed a full vapor barrier system—including 14-mil floor liner and 10-mil wall and pier wraps. We also added an 70-pint dehumidifier and fogged the space with antimicrobial treatment.

🌫️ Goal: Eliminate water intrusion, reduce humidity, and protect air quality.
